I am so tired! I walked in the house, pull of my shoes and just fell out.

But it was soooooo much fun. Like Jeremy said, if you did not come because of the weather it was indeed a Big Mistake!

I don't have to call any names, you know who you are!

There was some great flying all day long as well as some great night flying.

Couple of pros including Bobby Watts, Tim Jones and a couple of non sponsored guys. All 4 guys took home some cash. Pictures and more details coming up.

I couldn't do this every week, but already looking forward to next year.
One thing I forgot,Ty had ask me about doing a group picture and I got so busy it slip my mind. But it just gives us something to look forward to next time.

One thing nice about SRC is it wasn't over ran with pro pilots. It had a nice mixture of beginners, novices and pros.

I've been to events where their was nothing but pros flying. I walked away after a full day of seeing this thinking I will NEVER be anywhere near that good. Feeling more discouraged than encouraged.

At SRC I walked away ready to push myself harder!! It was an excellent balance of all skill levels indeed. I feel rejuvenated and am going to try and fit in at least 30 minutes of sim time a night around my my school work.

Sunday
Field is available by 8am.

Thank you to those putting on the Great Night Demos last night. It was the best night flying I have ever seen myself. I will leave it to the rest of you to make your own comments.

I know there will be some coverage coming. Today everyone may come back out and fly your hearts out. No events of any kind of course.

It is wind down day, clean up etc. for us.

Again, I want to say thanks to all that came and did not give up due to the weather as it did pay off. It turned out to be a very good weekend.

All of the Sponsors need a big thank you. There are so many that donated to the event and made it possible for the prizes and raffles.
Without all the help from our sponsors we would not have been able to offer all the stuff we did.

Just a big thank you to all of you guys and gals that drove from Michigan, California, Florida, and all over the USA. Also those that flew from all over the country. Your determination is appreciated. We are humbled at the fact you chose our event to all come together to make it what it was.

I appreciate all the hard work Terry did and special thanks to all of the club members of NETRC for their hard work, in supporting the SRC again this year.

Off to the field now for closing day.
Thanks everyone..

outstanding event without a doubt.

it is even better when you win the night fly raffle (dx7 transmitter).

terry, thank you for the new dx7 transmitter. looking forward to retiring my spectrumized jr8103. also, thanks to powerhelis.com for donating the transmitter to the raffle.

we all had a blast. the noon demo's and 3d contests were amazing and the night flying was the best i've seen since my first SRC in 1998.

terry and weldon, you guys put alot into this event and it shows. first class event. thanks for all you do.

Hi Guys
I really enjoy reading all the nice comments from everyone. However, I wanted to post a quick message just in case someone out there is really a honest person but doesn't know who to contact about this.

One of the Castle guys, a friend of Tim Jones, lost several hundred dollars wrapped up in a rubber band at the field.

Someone might have picked it up and not knowing whose money it was, put it in their pocket.

However, if you actually know who that someone is that needs the money, it might motivate you to give it back. If so, please contact or PM Tim Jones on runryder and let him know. His PM nickname is actually Tim Jones, so you can look it up on the runryder membership list and send him a PM message. I know they would much appreciate it.

I have got lots of pictures and some more comments, but right now I am trying to get some rest.
