the check is a little rocker push it in while blowing thru or flowing fuel. forgot to put that in there. you need to rock it or it wont clear.

Ys 50 on century nx 50
Well I took the plate off where the fuel inlet is the valve inside seems to be working. I cleaned it out while I was in there but seemed to be pretty clean. To get to any other part of the engine I'm gonna have to take it apart. I did get a different response this time I had smoke coming out of the muffler while I was trying to start it. But it still wouldn't start.

Ya I connected a medicine syringe to it with fuel in it and pushed the rocker down and put fuel through it. Fuel did come through. I got the black part out that's right behind it as well. But couldn't get to that piece behind it it was a thin rubber piece and didn't want to risk ripping it.

sorry I never spent time with that engine, but we know it's smoking so it is burning fuel but just wont start, have you tried raising the idle, or, it could be too lean on the Idle Needle, or both,, so at this point I would now richen-up the Idle Needle and try to start it, if that doesn't work then I would raise the Idle, if that doesn't work then you know there is something wrong with the engine,,

another thing, I have been flying the Century 50 for many years (ok, 12 years now), this heli has a very light Clutch, for years I had trouble with my OS 50 Engines NOT idling well, after years of tuning, and tuning and different Carbs, and different fuels and different pips, I found I simply need a really Hot Plug like the OS 6, the super light clutch was simply not loading the engine at low RPMs so the hotter plug would burn the fuel faster than a colder plug like the OS 8 or Enya 3.. to add, once the Hotter Plug was installed my heli had better Throttle Responds and the engine ran smoother, so my heli flew smoother,,, but with the Hotter Plug I did lose a tiny bit of full throttle power (but it did respond/snap better at 70% throttle), so the hotter plug was well worth having a better running engine

Ys 50
Ok great I'm gonna try that this after noon. I've tried opening the idels the manual said if it doesn't start open main needle 2 turns then try and start. I haven't tried closing it yet. I'm also gonna pick up a hotter plug. At this point I'm ready to try anything I also like the idea of ys I've only flown os. I've read a lot of great things about ys. Now if I can only get it started lol

Century nx 50
I tried closing the valves still nothing. I ordered a new glow plug and a valve just to know 100% that it's not that before I start tearing the heli down. I noticed in some extra parts I have there's a muffler extender not sure I that will make a difference in the engine starting.

do you have a way of setting the engine up on some sort of test bench with a prop?

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Sent a PM

1 check the glo ignitor to make sure it lights the plug well and remove any extension to eliinate that as a problem

2. put some fuel directly in the carb and see if it fires and burns off. If it does then your issue is in the carb.

I just wanted to give an update. I fixed the motor. Or really I just got it running. I think all it was, was my starter. Sense the engine was new there was a lot of compression and my starter wasn't pushing through it well enough I guess. I borrowed my buddies align starter and boom fired right up. Took it to the field finished breaking in the engine put some easy flight on it.
I do want to say for this heli to be at this cost is amazing cause it flies great. I love this century nx50 I just wish I could find another 1 in case of crash I spent $250 on this heli bind and fly couldn't be happier right now
