sealing
The edge on this G10 kind of looks cool to me. Nice edge pattern like a carbon edge.

If I were not in a rush I usually dip a q tip in fresh thin ca and seal the edges. This is a trick from the old days of RC pan car racing. This was to keep the material from de laminating with all the bumps they took "rubbin is racing boys"

2 more days till the week end

Header
I did get a chance to come up with a mount idea.
The new boom suport is not flush with the frame and no bolts lined up just right so i used a spacer from the parts tray (got to love the parts tray) and came up with an easy solution. It works out almost perfect you can see the black is righ in line with the carb opening and just a few mm above just where a header should be (neutral to venturi) darn close.

With it that close my pump is probably not needed.
Yea I know I am a plumbers nightmare but the set up works the nutz for keeping the same tune all tank thru. Creature of habbit.

Was just checking out the mount of your header tank and noticed the bracket around the tank, QWW ? What is that? Also the middle nipple on the header tank was being used. Does this have something to do with the pump?

LOL
haha I am going to hear it on that one....

That is me not grabbing a purple century header tank as I should LOL
I hit the junk box to grab a header. That is another MFG's header century has one just like it.

The third nipple is for the pump flow back correct.

Also you can see I need to remove the silver dress up from the screw as it is making the header mount crooked and not flush. it is already gone I took the picture before I removed it.

So no one point out the header it tilted ok !

Just cut the collar down a little and get rid of that washer, The washer is to big and causing the tilt. I'm sure you've already fixed this though.

Yes ,winters certainly can cut down on the flying time.

But after a heavy spering, summer and fall of flying - it can also prove to be a welcomed rest.

i saw one fly yesterday - it was pretty sweet. the pilot was really good too though so that may have had something to do with it - seemed like he was pirouetting during the whole routine. i didn't realize it was an NX until he took the canopy off since it didn't have the new canopy. as for me, i had just as much fun zipping around with my old school raven. I was trying to show him how to fly correctly with the nose first and right side up.

Yea tell me about it
I have the darn thing sitting there looking at me and we have a cold snap with 20 MPH winds to make it really sting. I had it in the car all ready to go and by the time I was ready to roll my fingers were numb so i figured I better wait for a warm spell. Should be in the 40S this weekend I hope. In the 20s is not fun but add wind like that and even as much as I want to fly the thing playing video games won.

I can fly when it is that cold but I cant tell much how it feels the balls get all stickey especially on a new heli.

Don't know about you but it sounds like there's a problem when your balls get frozen or sticky. Good thing I live in the tropics
