I've read some opinions they're

"just as good. The 401 is a waste of money".

Just curious what you guys thought.

Reading the G401B thread on RCG (I've been keeping up w/ it for about 3 months) I'd say that half the people are happy and half are not. Some people report drift as the issue, others that it's vibration sensitive.

Yesterday bad news guys the heli did fly and fast and hit the ground really hard. but really hard.
  • Canopy damage, belt main gear two pieces one way bearing slip in two
  • Main blade,tail blades,main & tail shafts,federing(spindel)
  • Paddle,flybar,skids all scratch out,links
Fast forward fling some stall turns and a lot of wind coming on the two o'clock nose in wind favor coming down a stall turn it went to low so i did pich it + but the thing is i was suppose to pull up not to pichit + it hit the ground and it travel on the ground like 33 feet in to it stop.

Bad day yestaerday. Absolutely stupidly crashed from 5sm from the ground. Damage - only main gear. Replaced. Test fly - belt broke. Repaired.

So not flying day, but repair day.

A little bit,
Mostly flying today. This is a change...typically I work more on the heli than fly it. Refreshing change for once.

Bobby,
I also am very happy with the 401 gyro clone (XMhobbies 401b gyro). Especially for $28.50 each plus $5 to ship. I bought a second one for my soon to be Trex 450SE V1.

Yesterday I had a hard landing and had intalled a new tail fin.
