What the hell is wrong with this kid? I've been here in RR for about two years+ and this kids name keeps popping up.

Nick Jones needs to be put down. What we need to do is get everyone who has ever been shafted by this smirking kid, and file a law suit. Collect all evidence and paper trails that links your transaction with this kid, and lets sue his butt off.

Someone probably needs to beat him an his daddy with a golf club to teach that stealing is wrong.

Why use a golf club?

A baseball bat disapates too much energy over a wider surface area.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

I think I remember seeing posts about him several years ago. This kid has become a professional thief. Even if you guys do nothing, in a few months he'll be 18 and the gloves come off, so to speak.

So I sent a message to Chaos saying that I'd be interested in 25 g401b's but only on COD due to what I've heard about Nick and Tim..

got a response of:

Hey Sean if you order 25 I can offer you 37$ shipped. And they are shipped from Xm hobbies I will ask if they can COD. I will reply asap

Thanks,
Chaos RC

I need 25 gyros of the G401B....but only COD...because of what I heard about
you Nick and your father Tim. Setting up shop and will be a good customer if you
can deliver.

I don't know...I do know that xmhobbies sells the gyros that I was looking at. It is those gyros that I had originally asked about that got no response on.

I had sent a message asking about the g401b in regards to quality, reliability etc. because of the over priced GY401. Go see what 3 axis gyros cost (not rc) and you'll see what I mean. But that is a different forum.

So, anyway I set out to find more out about the g401b...haven't heard many bad things but nothing about long term use, accuracy, 3D, etc. At 40 bucks I don't really care if it survives a crash nor if it lasts a year...but if it completely fails after 10 - 20 flights I want to know.

Sent nick an email at chaos and not one e-mail response (flag no 1). That was before I found this site. So after reading I asked if they accept paypal...his response was that is the only form of payment they accept. flag no 2

I then sent a message as indicated above. And you guessed it...HE won't be sending it. So, My guess is that he has a discount deal with xmhobbies. I'll be calling them tomorrow to check this guy out.

I'd do the naming look up that was done at the start of this topic but forgot how. Ya, know where you can through command line look up the owner name and address of a site holder...

Its called drop shipping. He must have some sort of arrangement, gets his money from you, makes the call and payment and they drop ship to you instead of him. Keeps him out of the loop. Leaves you to deal with them. cya

Some more usernames he is going by. He is currently spamming up threads in RC Groups and he keeps getting banned then coming back for more.

"D450", "lol's" and "Suffix".

He has only just turned 17 and is extremely childish for his age.

Here is another email he is using:

nickjones92@hotmail.com

I'm a rep for RCer, and I'm getting Nick Jones removed full stop. I can't believe he is still in and everyone else on the team agrees with me.

BTW if you have bought something from this guy and have any problems just start up a Paypal claim ASAP, don't let him fool you into taking longer (as to go past the claim time limit).
