Electric vs Nitro
Hello to all, well i know this is the battle of the century, but today i discovered that electric helis can some day if not right now win vs nitro...i`m fliying my electric trex 600 today, vs my old rappy 30 and waoooo compare this; carry fuel, clean all the heli after the fly, tools, starter, flybox, plugs, towels, etc, etc.., nitro become expensive over the years, lipo tecnology advanced each day, motors are more efficient, cost less, low noise, no smoke, no polution.... chargers the same thing, safest, fasters...
Can you think about this? i know lipo batteries are still expensive but is the only problem right? ahh imagine if the time of recharge reduce at least 1/2 of the actual time.... i can see the day that this become a reality.!..no far away... nitro will die
Global temperature increase each year, lipo is environmentally safe, nitro is dangerous, toxic, poisonous..
Now people can't fly nitro helis in some places but electric's are welcome...
I'm waiting for my second "big" electric heli Century Swift RTF.. all in a small box:, no mess, no oil,no fuel bills, i´m so happy.. my trex 600n are still waiting for drink more 30% nitro

what do you think?.. i'm right
Finally I have a Turbine heli.. :) Mobb Powercat !!

This topic has been discussed and argued to death.

Nitro will always be around as long as there is a demand.
Electrics are nice and have their good points but then so does nitro.
It all boils down to personal preferance and abilities.

1 is not better then the other

Yep, and the thing is, if you're fixated on any one system (and have an investment in it) you're not about to agree to any arguments against it. Been there, done that. Black becomes white, bad becomes good. Don't even try to convince nitro lovers that nitro helis have their bad points (they have no bad points!), and vice versa for electrics (again, no bad points at all!). You'll get shot down very quickly and viciously.

LOL,

I solved my problem. I have both so I can't complain. I use the nitro in between charges or when I run out of batteries. IMO for long days on the field, have both.

Start reading other posts if you have as they said a few hours. No one will ever win this argument any time soon.
