Problems with head speed
Hi There
I have a problem with the head speed on my Hurricane 550 . I am using a stock ESC and a JR 9303.
The problem is that in Idle up I can not get the head speed up, it goes down. My throttle curve is 100-50-100
and I even ran the throttle throw up to max 150, I have been flying Nitro for 20 years but just started to fly Electric. ( way different beast but love them) anyway any help would be great..

Thanks
Tom

I'd bump up your middle point on your throttle curve from 50 to at least 85.

Or if your esc is in governer mode , it might not kick in till around 85%.So you could disable the governer setting and just use the tx throttle curve......

With the nitros the thr. curve is summin like 100 85 75 85 100, whereas with electric you can go like 100 inh 85 inh 100......thats my understanding.

Electrics dont start to operate at peak efficiency(?)till at least 80-85%of full power.

I hope this helps in some way..............
