Flight time with the Cobra fuse on
I'm on the E325 SE and after I put the new Cobra fuse on, the flight time is tremendously reduced. I mean, I used to get about 5.5 minutes easily light 3D with TP 3s2200 and I'm now down to 3 minutes and the battery gets weak to the point I can't fly, and I'm only hovering.

What's up?

well, first you are adding a bit of weight.Second I believe most of the scale guys use differnt curves for their helis.since you are not going to do 3d with a fuse,no need for a screaming headspeed and all that neg pitch.the SE is designed to be a 3d machine so you may want to drop a tooth or 2 on your pinion,it will increase your runtime and also help cool things downCompass helis Support Team

I'm doing -7/+11 for my 600 sized scale bird. I think it's okay to do the same thing on a smaller sized scale to fight the wind sometimes.

Rotorstat - I was getting 5min 3D before the Cobra conversion on my stock Mini Titan. After the conversion I am getting 6-7min..
I found the main thing is to slow the head speed way down. It doesn't need to be screaming in 3D settings. The new angled tail drive also soaks up a lot more power but does free up after a few flights.
