600ESP? HELP! I've been bitten by the electric bug!!!
My 500 is getting all the stick time but now I want a bigger heli like my dust-collectin' 600NSP. Just don't have time for nitro hassles lately and with 2 chargers and 3 packs I'm getting decent flight times.

Should I get a 600 today or wait for super pro?

Any word/news on this baby?!

Any nice big pics?

How about an ETA?

It sure would be nice. I have lately been thinking of a 700 in the near future when money permits. But I just don't see that much of a difference between the 600 and 700 for the cost difference. I already have a 600 E and 600 NSP but if they made a 600 ESP well I'd buy that over the 600 ANY DAY.

Now what upgrades is this going to come with? Same as the NSP minus the nitro aspect? If so that would be great. I don't know if I'd rather go for the 700 or another 600. That would be a tough decision. I love all my helis and lately flew the nitro. But I pulled out the 600 E after I modded it and it was such a difference flying it. Easy, clean, different sound and well I don't know just different.

yea it seems like its coming with all of the same bling as the NSP but if you look close it looks like its coming with the "A" arm elevator link that ditches the anti rot. bracket like on the 700N...so technically more!dude..wheres my heli?????ama#902014

no prob on the pics

i dont know...if you been looking around the classifieds..things just arnt selling unless its for really cheap...i just sold my nitro super pro with a y.s.50 mp-5 and a align gov,and lots of spare parts, for 550 shipped... expect to loose at least 200 bucks unless the economy takes a crazy turn for the better....but i doubt it

on another note..buy the cheaper 600 with the glass frames now..use it as a beater..and get the SP (when it comes out)as your main sexy bird when it comes out

Awesome Yoshgixxer, I just looked close and saw that, didn't observe that first time around. Good eagle eye. It looks sweet. I think when that comes out, I'll buy that any day over the 700. I love the way the 700 looks but as much as I like nitro, 1 nitro is all I need. Electric is the way of the future.

I absolutely LOVE IT. I love all of my helis. You know if someone asked me which my favorite one was, I wouldn't be able to answer. They all look awesome, they all fly awesome, each flies different for different environments and well yea they look sweet. Plus it is fun to have them to not only fly but look at, maintain, look at, fly and build, rebuild. I definitely can't fly that great but I like them anyway. As fun as the nitro is, I'd still say when you can get one, it is neat to have one and fly occassionally but after taking a break from the 600 E and flying the 600 Nitro then going back to the 600 E I forgot how much different it was, quieter, easier and its got a different look to it. Plug and fly. Like I said get both if and when you can, but I certainly think Electrics are the way to go.

I have asked the same question and the replies I have gotten are there will never be a 700 E. Which I think is B.S. Electrics are the way of the future. With that said sure it will be crazy expensive to power a 90 size heli by electric power but this hobby is already expensive. And in order to get a 90 size in the air it will most likely need to be powered by an 10-12 S set-up. Using fancy electronics such as Neu motors and phoenix/jazz esc's. That will significantly add to the price but I'm pretty sure most of us out there have already proved that when it comes to this hobby, sadly money is usually of little concern. We want it and have to have it. Now if Align doesn't step up and work in relation with some of those high end motor companies to sell a good kit shame on them. And if they do, well their result should be rewarding because I have 1 nitro that's all I need, I'd love another bigger electric primarily a 600 ESP but if they make a 700 with the exact same setup as a nitro now but instead uses battery power I'd buy that in a heartbeat again as soon as my funds would allow!

Go ahead and get the 600e now every time I wait for some new product it keeps getting set back on release. I you buy now the new one will come out right after

As for the 700 don't hold yer breath but I'm sure that sooner or later they will be available or someone will make a conversion kit.

I have 5 T Rex's and have been longing for a 90 size electric for some time. And I waited to see if the 700 was going to happen.

Well it didn't! so I just bought a Ion-X2 from the classifieds anybody out there thinking about going 90 size electric will not be disappointed. I just love this thing its incredible. Only down side is my 450 & 500s have been collecting dust

That’s the main problem with nitro – the power is lower than current EP helicopters. The advantage of nitro is the longer run time and self lubrication – LOL.

i love electric...but i love big 90 size helicopters...and i dont not like the price of 12 cell lipos...i know the argument has been over and over that you spend as much on gas as you do lipo battery's...but for me its easier to sneak 40 bucks a week past the wife rather then $300+ for a lipo..and you need atleast 5 of em to fly all day...you charge you batterys and ill gas mine up..see whos in the air first!dude..wheres my heli?????ama#902014

found some more details on the SP 600 not sure how accurate it is but..

1. Pitch/Aileron servos are mounted upside down to avoid contact with canopy. Swashplate and T-shaped bell crank are reversed as well, so the anti-rotation guide is now in the front of the shaft (IE 600g/700)
2. Revised canopy for better line as result of changes in item 1.
3. Full metal head
4. Third bearing block is removed.
5. Battery mount plate sits more flush with edge of frame, so battery is not scarred from the frame.
6. Possible thicker frame, which eliminated some reinforcement points of the old frame.
7. Torque Tube drive standard.
8. New 650L motor with 6mm shaft
9. 100A ESC
10. 6A BEC
