[quote]Only one cure for what's ailing me and that's more stick time.

I agree. I have a feeling circles are the last ingredient to the fundamentals.

If it takes a long time, it takes a long time,

What's gonna happen? Is my LHS or RR going to fire me?

Clockwise circles are easy. CCW not as easy. I think it has something to do with the T/R pushing upward into the rotor wash. Not sure. Anyways. If you fly it higher and get a little more speed....The circles tend to be a little more easy. At least thats what ive noticed. Its almost like flying a plane at that point.

Brad, agreed. At the slower speeds the tail rotor thrust makes it so you have fly the heli flat when circling CCW. CW, you can bank it a little, even at slow speeds. Once you get enough speed up that you have to bank it CCW circles, it becomes much easier and more naturally appearing. At the slower speeds the heli doesn't look or feel right and sort of runs against my inner sense of what the heli should be doing.

Mike, I'm with you. Your are definitley not alone on this one. This is the last of the fundamental upright skills. Once this is conquered, I'll be able to fly upright circuits all day long.

Tryan, you are always running against the grain. That's what I like about you. Try a CCW circle slow and see what happens. Slow enough that the heli is not banked at all. That's where the feeling that things are out of balance happens and it messes with your heli equalibrium.
