Different roll rates and pinion question
Okay, two part question. For one thing what kind of difference in flight times/current draw will i see going from a 12t pinion to a 13t pinion. Does this help my headspeed not bog so much during cyclic maneuvers? I"m using stock motor/esc 6S 3000 lipo, stock blades. I want to shoot for efficiency, but right now i bog pretty decent using a 100-97-95-97-100 throttle curve. I also run for 6:30 hard aerobatics, fff, stationary flips, rolls etc and take the batts down to 3.75v per cell, which i believe is 75-80% discharge. OH, also, when i jump to 13t, will i see a significant increase in cyclic speed/authority assuming the same cyclic pitch?

Second question. its seems my right roll rate is faster than my left. Is this a setup problem on my part? I thought i remember reading somewhere it would be faster one direction than the other due to gyroscopic effects or something.

What motor and head speed do you have now?
Rotation of the main blades will make it roll faster to the right.

I'm using stock motor and 12t pinion, it seems to roll faster to the right. If I increase cyclic to the left to couteract this effect, will this help?***Logo 600 vbar***Henseleit TDR vbar***

Right now your head speed is around 2400rpm with the 12T. With the 13T. your going to pick up 300rpm and be a lot happier man. It should improve the helis flight a lot. On the roll thing. The leading blade has more lift than the retreating blade. So you can try and compensate for it with your cyclic.
Good Luck!
