MP V91XL on the way
I have one on the way and getting the components all together for the new bird.
I'm not so crazy about using the OS91 in this bird but didn't want to wait to have the clutch exchanged to fit the YS91SR

what are you guys using with your XL91?

my setup going to be:
OS91 (not sure what model to use yet since the new ones are not out yet)
Zimmerman header with the Hatory tuned pipe.
JR 8717 cyclic and throttle
Spartan Gyro and JR8900 for the tail.
Multigov.
2500mh Lipo for power and possibly running an 8V. setup.
switch glo

Not sure about the mains, is it OK to use the 710's ?

I think the 8717 is too big for Three Dee. In my helicopter the space between this 2 servo (view picture)is aprox. 1mm with BLS451. Maybe, if you wan't to use 8717 you need to put a spacer for roll servo but you altered the servo geometry. The height for BLS451 is 35mm and the height for 8717 is 40mm. My opinion is to go for another servo.

Hi,

I'm happy for you, I can remember as I received mine ...

What is the pipe on the picture ? Which exhaust do you plan to use ?

I had the Rocket pipe for 1 year and I changed recently for a Tornado muffler as it is easyer for fine tuning the engine.

Enjoy the building.
Fred.
