You're deluded. Clinton tried the same thing, "I'll only increase taxes on the rich." First rich were defined as income of $1 million. A few weeks later, it was a half mil, then $300,000 then $100,000. It finally ended up at $35,000, and everybody got a tax increase.

Have another drink of the Koolaid.

Clinton balanced the budget and created the longest period of economic expansion in the history of the United States of America.

Why do Repubs hate it when everyone gets rich instead of just the top 1%?

Bush has put us into debt to the tune of 1 trillion dollars. China has us by the balls now thanks to Bush.

How we gonna pay for that?

Dems are always having to clean up Repub messes...and then you Cons blame Dems for your failures...

Espcially when they are nowhere near that top 1%.....

Funny thing is I would gladly pay a bit more in taxes to not have that idiot in office.

Obama's plan is typical democrat, punish those that do well for themselves.

Funny, if you want to talk about who will cut taxes most...Your own chart shows McCain will do that more than Obama.

McCain -2% for -1,195.00
Obama -0.3% for -160.00

------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Monica, I mean Bill, let Osama go when he had a chance to get him.

Then, we had an economic turn down just before leaving office because of his huge tax increase. And we got the 9/11 thing just after Monica, I mean bill, left office. Of course 9/11 mostly came about because Monica, I mean Bill, let Osama go when he had that chance to get him.

Then, we have war, cost billions, and a deficit because of that.

He left that for us. His legacy.

Thanks Monica, I mean Bill

Lets kick it around some more guys. Its fun.

once again dee tee dee enterprises gets it wrong. Man I can't imagine anyone being more clueless. It's not Clinton's "fault" and it's not bush's "fault". It's easy to point fingers, but it's the extremeists "fault", and the U.S. aid to Isreal over the years which has bred the hatred for the U.S. by the extremeist muslims.

Going to war in Iraq had nothing to do with the "war on terror", it was a terrible dictatorship with Saddam, but there are lots of those in war torn africa, and you don't see the U.S. "liberating" those countries...why? It doesn't make good business sense...no oil.

I do stand corrected on the terrorists issue.

It was really their fault and not necessarily Monica's, I mean Bill's, fault.

The US aid to Israel cannot be a blame for the Radical Islamics. Thats a contradiction of the above.

Actually, I feel pretty much the same way Jon Voight does about Obama.

He said:

"There is not a single bone in my body that believes Obama can protect us from terrorists as well as McCain"

typical... ignorant comments relating someone because his name is similar to Osama... might as well jump in a mud pit and start slinging away... that statement holds no water...

LOL at DeeTee,

I never thought I'd see the day when a Con would trust the judgement of a hollywood elite type...

I'm expecting to see pigs fly today...

Let's ask Jon what we should do about the Russia-Georgia situation, huh? LOL

My better half and I ran into Voight in a Vons parking lot in Encino almost a year ago. We casually walked by and said hello. He looked at us like we murdered someone. Total a-hole. I should have known then he was a Con.

quite obvious that you dont know your history my friend. The US government promised a homeland for the palastinians, and they were lied to, plain and simple. I'm not sympathetic to their cause, so don't get me wrong, but they were screwed over. Nothing against Israel or the Jews, but it is the mere fact that we ally ourselves with them that the US is targeted by Muslim terrorists.

Oh sure.

And Yasir Arafat was offered everything but the kitchen sink.

He turned it all down and continually passed up an opportunity to pass an opportunity time and time again. Wich proves that he never wanted an agreement anyway. He was just a terrorist. They all operate the same way. They just want to be terrorists.

Real cool way to negotiate.

RonShill,

Haven't you heard? Bush borrowed 1 trillion dollars from China. Yeah, they own us right now thanks to the genius. We have very little leverage right now when it comes to China. Bush's economic policy has put in a position of weakness in the world.

http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

Check this out...
AMERICA LESS AND LESS IN CONTROL OF ITS OWN ECONOMY

"Foreign interests have more control over the US economy than Americans, leaving the country in a state that is financially imprudent. More and more of our debt is held by foreign countries – some of which are our allies and some are not. The huge holdings of American government debt by countries such as China and Saudi Arabia could leave a powerful financial weapon in the hands of countries that may be hostile to US corporate and diplomatic interests.” David Walker, the US comptroller general. 23 July 2007. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/t...icle2120735.ece

Foreign interests now own more and more of America - - According to the above chart, they own nearly 50% of federal government treasury bonds. Foreigners own about "$9 trillion of U.S. financial assets, including 13% of all stocks, 13% of agencies, and 27% of corporate bonds", according to Gillespie Research/Federal Reserve. The major provider of money for home mortgages is Fannie Mae - - guess where they get that money > > answer: they borrow about a third from outside the U.S., according to Bloomberg Sept. 2002. Additionally, foreign interests own real estate and factories.

This spend-spend-spend with debt-debt-debt mentality of the Federal Government has in more recent years spilled over into the private sector, as debt ratios of the household, business and the financial sectors have soared to historic record highs, which is graphically demonstrated in another chapter of this series called 'America's Total Debt Report'. We have become a nation of 'debt-junkies,' living beyond our means more than ever before. And, like a drug junkie, we require larger and larger doses. Such trends cannot be sustained forever, but where is clear action to reverse?

We should not be mad at foreign interests. We are the ones consuming beyond our own production, with nil savings, creating unprecedented debts in all sectors and trade deficits, PLUS excessive federal spending.
http://home.att.net/~mwhodges/debt.htm
Now how do you propose we get out of this hole? CUT taxes? We already see where that got us, deeper in the hole...

So now you want us to continue to bang our head on the wall for another four years? Continue to sell off our country a billion dollars at a time to foreign interests?

We gotta pay for all this stuff somehow.
