GSR 260 running hot
What could be causing the Zenoah motor to run hot? It was revving quite high when I last used it. I have noticed some deforming of the aluminium exhaust which may be heat related.

Could it be the fuel mix perhaps. The

Any suggestions on running a cool motor would be appreciated.

Yes it could be a to lean fuel/air mixture,
cloged fuel filter/fuel line, dirt in the carb,
or an air leak some where.

Edit. Check that your muffler has not become restricted
by carbon deposit

hmm
I have to ask since it depends on these.

-what oil and concentration are you using.
-What rpm is the motor you think during normal operation and do you use a gov and what engine rpm.
-When you say hot how hot and if so how.
-Are you running a air cleanner.
-How old is motor in gallons of oil.
-What are your needles at.

As well as the above post.
