I held off making any further comments to see where this would go.
The video link explained it very well.

To rephrase and elaborate on my last post,

To make a turn on a two wheeled vehicle, you first establish a lean angle suitable for the turn you intend to make. You do this by moving the bottom of the bike out from under yourself to establish the desired lean angle. This is done by moving the handle bars in the OPPOSITE direction of the intended turn. You then move then the handle bars in the direction of the turn to maintain the lean angle you just established. (or fall to the ground)

Most people learn to ride a bike but don't actually understand what they learned. When you can fly a heli without thinking, then you can fly a heli.

Now back to rudder pedals, I think that has already been clarified as how it works and how it came to be.

You open the jar by turning to the left.

This is because the universe is left handed.
The earth rotates to the left (CCW)
The moon rotates to the left.
The moon rotates around the earth to the left.
The earth rotates around the sun to the left.

But toilets rotate differently depending on whether you are north or south of the equator . . . so what's your point, anyhow?

Toilets still rotate in the same direction . . .
You're just looking at it from the bottom side when down under

OK well maybe not now I have researched a little and I am still getting mixed answers.

I do know all the toilets I have seen in the USA go one direction, and when I was in South America, it went the other.

I would guess if it is true, then the closer you are to the equator the less pronounced the swirl direction is.

OK OK I guess I am way wrong, still cant fully explain what I saw while in south america. Oh well

Hemisphere affects direction of flushing water?
I've spent a lot of time in Australia. I've seen toilets flush both directions in both hemispheres. Purely a myth that the earth's rotation affects the direction of the water swirling

It's usually the design of the bowl that has the most influence.

Try this for a better answer:

It's not a myth . . . and can be proven.

True, a toilet has an initial direction that is created by the direction of the inflowing water that can not be easily overcome by the coriolis effect.

A bath tub is easier to prove it with. Wait for a direction to establish itself and then reach in and change the direction. Wait and see it go back to the original direction.

The coriolis effect is what causes this and also is what makes your piezo gyro work.

That must also explain why hurricanes in the south are clockwise then change countercloskwise when it crosses the equator.

We have a bunch of full-scale heli pilots on here, surely to goodness one of them will answer this. According to on-line sources I found, left pedal is left yaw; right is right.

I just went up to my neighbor's house who lives way up near the beginning of the street, they have one that is inside and flushes (my wife been wanting one of those for the longest and I keep telling her "Just one more chopper and the indoor plumbing will be next, I promise" ).
It went clockwise, but I seen that it was the direction of the little water jets under rim made it go that way.

Dilbec,
You are correct up to a point.
At speeds up to about 3 mph the bike turns in the direction that you turn the handlebars.Above that speed the bike turns opposite.
This has been proved with a careful experiment.
No adult beverages were harmed during this experiment.
I will leave it up to AirWolfRC to explain this.
He is much better at that than I am.
