9-Z battey?
If it ain't one thing it's another! The transmitter batteries need to be replaced in both of my 9-Zs.
who's got the best deal and is it worth it to change to Lithiums?
If swapping to lithium does the circuit board in the battery case stay or go?
Thanks in advance;Junkpilot

I bought a duralite pack for my 9z because the stock one was only lasting for a day of flying if that.

I ponied up the big bucks and they sent me a 3s2p plug and play pack.

I didn't have to charge it the entire week of IRCHA. Although I will admit I put less flights in there than I normally do in a weekend at the local field.

I could not be happier with the duralite pack for the 9z, I probably get 30-40 flights off it on the weekend, then charge it.

PM me if you want any info off the battery label, although I think they only make one. I think it cost me a stiff $120 or so, but there is no comparison.

Cheers

I agree completely. Get the Duralite pack and you will not be disappointed.

Oh, and you will need a good Li-ion charger.

Maybe I'm missing something. Why is this better than a 2500 mAh NiMH for $39 ?

I don't see a balance plug on it anywhere.

i put Energizer NiMH 2500s in mine for $20. Works great. Haven't checked it since last year, but i get about 7-8 hours use per charge as i recall.

Don't waste your money on an overpriced Duralite pack. Get a 2500 NiMh pack. Try http://www.hangtimes.com or Fromeco.org for replacement packs.
