Trex 500 Throttle Curve
Is there any issue with running a 100% throttle curve all the way across?

That means in my stunt 1 and 2 throttle curves that for each value I have it set for 100 so that it creates a straight line all the way across the graph. With electrics you don't need a 'v-curve.'Brian

I fly mine at 0 60 80 90 100 and I love the way it flies. I have it set on a V-Curve 100-95-90-95-100 though in Idle up. I don't feel comfortable with a 100% flat t-curve. What is the real benefit?

The real benefit is an insanely fast heli that is difficult to bog.

I run 100 90 90 90 100 in 2 and 100 90 85 90 100 in 1.
I would like to run a flat 100, I always have with my 450 and 500.
My question is will running 100 flat make my motor die not last as long and also make my pack last less time??????????
ANy advice would be well appreciated.
I the way I am with 450`s and 500`s I take more chances have more fun but also crash every 5 - 10 flights trying to learn new tricks, but I would like to keep this 600 in the air for at least a couple of months or more hopefuly.
so Im not doing any 3d, still I the faster the rotor speed the faster the heli flies for big sky stuff also thats why i would prefer 100 across the board.

Running 100 all the way across does cut your flight time by about 30 seconds but I think it is worth it if youre doing hard 3d; much less bog.Brian

I dident mean flight time so much , more how long the motor and pack will last for before it needs replaceing.

in theory running at 100% would make it cooler because its more efficient and if its harder to bog it would put less strain on the motor... but if you run 100% and are bogging it alot then it would make it hotter. so really how long ur motor last depends on how well of a pilot you are and what kind of conditions you fly ur heli in... i put a drop of motor bearing oil on each bearing before the start of the weekend which is when i fly just to keep them cool and lubed up well and hopefully make the motor last as long as it will
