hey!

real quick...I just PCSed to Ft. Hood I'm a WO1 60 guy...I'm flying r/c jets curently....But ANY kind of a flying field would be nice...

( I flew helis for several years )

so anyone fly near me or what!!!

There is a grass field in Killeen, and then in Temple there is a club as well, it is an asphault runway. I wouldn't want to fly a jet at either. The way the field is setup at the Killeen field, most fly early in the morning because around noon until late afternoon, the sun is right in your face. The Temple field is nice but the trees are right in your face. Either good for a heli though.
