I see they are a good way to get airborne. I thought I was the only one that had slight puffing on an FMA? I dropped mine on the concrete and dented it ever so slightly I blamed it on that maybe its not the case. Oh and I guess you know you can cycle the hell out of the megapower Mine started puffing at 300cycles I quit flying it at 350 and I constantly abused it. I ran the 1350mah down to 8 or 9% on my cellpro fuel gauge almost every flight. No Really I am the club President!!!

Mark and I used to buy MegaPowers, he still has two- they are OK-- allof mine eventually puffed Ironically my HK Fleabays have not. However Marcushelius bought two Outrage 1800 mah packs for his B400 and so far they have been excellent compared to the eflite 1800 mah packs. Supposedly the New generation of MegaPower packs have an anti-puff formula That remains to be seen.

The good news about running a 6s pack is that they hand out amps with ease and should run very cool with my normal flying. At least I hope they will.- Chris

Cool man! I am still trying to justify one
There is no way to justify a 550 (same size as a raptor 30). I mean come on a 49" rotorspan thats just ridiculously large takes lots of costly batteries needs big area's to fly. IMHO it just doesn't seem logical. That said when you gonna get one ya big sissy. A gy240 will work and get this standard size servos they are cheaper than micros.

It will be awesome You will be in love and scared out of your mind all at the same time for the first few flights That's how I was last weekend with the new 3meter sailplane. I was so feaked worrying about something going wrong but staring at it cruising along in awe of it You won't be disappointed trust me.

Don't worry she's on the hot seat right now Had to change a few things to house the nitro powerplant. You are right though, when I was in high school I did a 6' twin engine Grumman Widgeon and I was trembling after every flight There is NOTHING quite like flying from the water, takeoff and landings are magicalDepleting the world of parts, one crash at a time!!
