That left side is missing a overlapped reinforcement panel like the right side...That is the reason you see the joint..
Nothing is etch in stone so keep that in mind with a concept model...

Pull start option for a gasser is a must. Thats the whole idea is to reduce the field equipment. They should add material at to top so we can add a generator. Looks great otherwise.

It looks nice for shure.
But I think those bolts on the top that hold the mast bearing, the bolt washers are off the frame.

If you look at the photo closer you will see that part of the washer is not on the frame.

Al Austria
As long as the diameter of the bolt/washer fits completely within the edges of the frame, there should be enough support.
Take alook at the foto.

Cheers

Finally a big heli maker is showing a 20cc gasser. That`s very intersting having in mind that nitro is currently very expensive in most places around the world.

TT, ALIGN, MA, COMPASS, JR, HIROBO...

...what the hell are they thinking??

The market is screaming for gasser machines.
Sure, I will get this baby.

not been flown yet ??
I hope this is stil in development because for a show model it is already falling apart.

look at split in the frame

I don't think I would consider that "falling apart". It might not be a tight fit (for a proto), but there are bolts holding it on either side.

I think I'm a prototype nothing works right, my brain shuts down constantly, and getting parts is a nightmar

I am not bashing Century, I want them to fix the weaknesses because I want one too and I don't want to read others bashing them because of these flaws.

Keep up the good work Century

""I am not bashing Century""

Well I see some of the Century guys are getting a little cranky, must be due to being stoved up in these harsh frozen conditions. Do you seriously think that Century would manufacture a new model without extensive testing and tweaking so its safe for the public to fly? I would not be concerned about a prototype displayed, It might as well be a clay mold. Looking at a prototype means nothing except that they are working on something and hope that it will spur some intrest.

Now now, let's not loose focus that there could be a 50 sized gasser parked in our hangar's in the future. I have full faith that whatever Century decides as final, I'll be happy with.

Hold on, let me get my pom pom's off now

I think we're suffering from Heli-Withdrawl.

If this is just a showcase model then so be it. But why tease us?

I hope they get this bird flying by spring so the rest of us Canadians can fly a gasser this season.

I think that split in the frame you guys are seeing is probably a hinge part so the frame can swing open.
