funny you bust a capacitor and for my understanding this is why the cutoff protection is in there, this shows how well the cutoff software protects the ESC from damage........ kontronik see this please, when the protection was needed it didn't work. so if the software it's there to save the esc but it's not doing it, it's only there for one reason, keep me holding for buy the hv version until they remove itTeam Mikado, Team Edge blades

Readiheli has forwarded my "issue" to kontronik, lets see how they deal with it, I was hoping r/heli would sort me out first then take it further. Wise decision to stay away from the jive till this is resolved, Pity!
abrajim, how did esprit handle your p/jazz issue?

and it's a good choice by the way, the scorpion is cheaper but the 130A seems to weigth almost the same that the PJ, and the PJ governor it's pretty good and you will be happy with it. and also they have great reputation of be 100% compatible with the actros.
i also love the jive, have one 80LV and i am pretty happy with it, just waiting for kontronik to work out the problems with HV units, but trhust me in a 90 machine you will love the PJ.

Must say i'm also dissapointed as i offered to buy a new one and get credited back when they received the busted one, but seems they're not willing to commit to that.
Guess what i'll do is get a powerjazz from esprit and then just let the jive woes work continue to conclusion, whichever way you look at it it's gonna take quite a while to get sorted. At least from your experience it seems esprit took full responsibility for the product they sell notwithstanding what the distribitor or manufacturer outcome would be, imo that counts for a lot. But let's give r/heli a chance, i'll resume my business relationship with them pending the outcome of all this.
Btw what happend to your P/J?

it died during the first fligth, in the first climbout, i guest it was because i was flying it with an orbit 30-12HE, it was pretty deissapointing because i buy the motor to work in combo with the pj and seems that the PJ have some issues with 30-12 HE, but now with the scorpion motors i am very happy of how the PJ are working....Team Mikado, Team Edge blades

I had a powerjazz that worked great, and just tried my new jive today, on 12s a123 ( maxi joker). No 3d or anything, but the gov was amazingly smooth. I'm impressed.Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

Yes the gov makes it extremely smooth to fly, i'll get one again when they sorted out the bugs, have a p/jazz on the way which should keep me happy till jive gets sorted. But right now have no faith in the jive!Common sense may not be common after all
