Man, what a rain storm we had this morning! Hopefully now the wind will be gone and the sun will return and we can get some flying done today!

Not yet, the replacement parts STILL HAVEN'T SHIPPED! ehem... I'm stuck with the Raptor for now, and also for another weekend by the looks of it. I just have to be patient and wait...

I did manage to get out and fly this morning for an hour and a half, nice and calm, cloudy, and then it started raining... now it's pouring...

Tomorrow will be the same, but I'll be at the hospital, my mother is having a triple bypass operation, so I won't be flying anyhow...

Maybe friday, the weather looks good...

Nope, I usually go just for the fuel, but since we ordered it already delivered, why go! They didn't really have that much for heli's last year so I'd rather save the gas money! There's always stuff that I'd want to buy, but.........! I'd rather just go to the fun fly's!

Yeah, I think I am. Jeff called yesterday and I told him my brother doesnt live too far from there. Maybe we could all camp there! He lives out it the sticks a bit and has a large yard! If there were any interest I could ask him about it.

One step forward, two steps back....

Step forward: This morning, I decided to see if the ElyQ Vision 50 tail boom would fit my Frenzy, and sure enough, it is perfect... the skid braces fit with new holes, and the tail braces are a bit longer, but thats not an issue.... Wow, I can fix my Frenzy 50! So I put it all together, and then grab the servos out of the ElyQ, which are my good Futaba 9452's, and put them in...

Step 1 backward: The elevator servo from the ElyQ (the one which cause the crash) isn't working It's the one the signal wire came loose in the connector, so it had power and no signal, guess it damaged something...

So I grabbed my new Turnigy HV servos from the .90, and put them in...

Step 2 backward: I got everything together, and went to hook up the battery to the receiver, and musta had a brain fart, but don't be fooled, you CAN plug in an EC3 connector backwards... The switch was off, so the receiver didn't fry, but the one servo I had plugged in just smoked...

I'm lucky I only had one servo plugged in, but now I have two sets of cyclic servos that are useless till I replace the bad ones...

Luckily I have a set of servos coming, should be here monday... but this delays fixing the .90 now
