Odam, that tail servo you ordered is smokin fast! I've not seen one with those specs before, I usually notice only .06 as the fastest I've noticed. Those are .03!Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

I'll probably get another multi-gov for it.... I like it better than the GV-1 and since I already have the programming screen for it....

I have the throttle jockey pro on one heli, the AR7000r on the other and the CSM Rev Lock 10 on this new one. It looks pretty simple, this revlock. I hope to fire it up today and see! I got it in the classifieds, sure have saved some $$ there!Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

Well, I managed a couple flights today... went up to the field, there was a foot of new snow covering the driveway in, and I got stuck about half way..... spent 45 minutes getting unstuck, then flew the HK500, the Raptor 50, and the TZ 50.... fantastic..... each one more fun than the other...

Still dreaming and waiting for the 90.... wonder how long till HC ships...

No I was still messing with the Revlock. I think i have it done though. I will try and maiden it tomorrow, just have to set the pitch. I've never set one of these Revlock's before so it took me a while. Just did 3 battery packs on the 600E. Phil did also.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

The TZ fly's!!! Got it started and eased up on the throttle to check the tail then put it into heading hold and she hovered!! I didn't fly it very long, I had the motor running about 5 or 6 minutes to check and see if it was hot or not and its way rich! So at least I know I can lean it a bit and it won't burn up! Now I have to go through and make sure all is still tight, the belt sure isn't! I'll go out this afternoon and fly a few tanks!Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

If you tighten the belt inside, then go out in the cold, the aluminum boom shrinks, and the belt is loose again... If you tighten it outside in the cold, and bring it back inside, the boom can expand, so don't make it too tight...

I had a chance to compare the TZ and the Raptor on the weekend... the TZ wins hands down

I can't wait for the .90 to get here... I realized this morning that my order from readyheli had everything cept the pipe... I dunno how I forgot it, but now its out of stock, so I had to order it from somewhere else (helidirect) but thats ok, cause HC still hasnt shipped the heli yet

Aw Man!!!
Hopefully they get on it, before they sell out of them. They may have shipped it, but didn't post it! One can only hope, right?
I'm about ready to go back out and run it again!

As soon as its paid for, it is reserved, so no worry about that... they are still catching up on their shipping from the Chinese new year, but hopefully they send it soon....

Just got back from flying the Frenzy! Man, I like it! I had a little trouble with the governer, but finally got it tamed down and it smoothed right out! For some reason I assumed that you had three settings on the aux2 channel. Nope there's a and b. So once i got that through my thick skull, it was good. I don't know if I have idle up set right or not, but I'll worry about that when i get there!Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

well at least your out flying sonny sounds like your making progress. well whats the verdict on the frenzy. do you like it better than the 600? i love my align helis i guess all 5 of them lol
but i do want to try another brand some time soon and have been looking at the tz. or maby the new n5 when its avalible and i can afford it. but for now il stick with align helis as i have lots of spare parts for them. i hope this weekend is flyable please please.
i have to finish breaking the ys 56 and get use to the flybarless system some more but i really like the 3g system.

Hey Cobra, I gotta say I was in the same boat you are with just Align heli's, and wanted to try something else. I have to say, I am just loving the TZ! That thing fly's great! Not a vibration to be seen! Another guy here on RR checked the run out for me on the cooling fan and it was good, so no problems after 3 tanks! And the tank is big, I'm not sure how much bigger than the 600N, but it seems bigger. I haven't put a header tank on it yet and may not, it seemed to take forever to finish it off. My biggest problem was getting the gov set up right.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

My dial indicator finally showed up from Harbor Freight yesterday. Now I just have to pull the engine from the frenzy and check it. I think its pretty close, but I can see the vert fin vibrate on spoolup, so I think I can fix that now...

this weekend is looking like great flying weather finally... can't wait!

Did your 90 ship yet? I got my spare TZ 50 today in the mail. I have not even opened the box. The weather gets a little better every day, we've actually had sunshine every day this week! Feels nice for a change. I had company so did not fly today but plan to tomorrow.

Cobra, I hear ya on the spare parts, I also have plenty of spares for my 600's, and they are flying very smooth also. I just have to start using the idle up switch and know what to expect when i hit it! Kind of scares me a little right now.
