heliproz. Just about any shop has them. Heck I bet someone might have a set laying around you could practically get for nothing.

Odam, thanks for the link, those look pretty good, and they're carbon fiber! Would a guy fly woodies on a nitro or just electrics?

Odam, I see HC has a new 450, looks pretty darned good. Not sure if they will be the same price or not, but more metal parts.
I don't hardly mess with my 450's unless its raining and I fly em in the garage. Just hover, but I'm sure when winter comes again I'll get em dusted off for some indoor flying.

The HK-450 has been out for a while... they are now offering metal parts for it.... I just ordered 3 new Copter-X cnc heads, so it will be a while till I need to order the metal parts from HC... I don;t know what their quality is like, but the copter-x heads are fantastic, but the tails, well, I dont use em, never had good luck, they seem to fall apart...

I just put a set of 335mm blades on my 450 tonight, they ever sound cool, especially with the Scorpion 2221-6 at 4400kv, and an 11t pinion

I'm not sure what else I can do to my HK-450, it has the Scoprion motor, Scorpion Commander 55A ESC, HS5065MG on cyclic, JR 7703D/3400G on the tail, Copter-X CNC head modified for Flybarless, Skookum Robotics SK360 Digital Flybar... It is a blast to fly... I love flying it more than the Raptor at this point, especially inverted

Hey Rudder, I've heard great things about that heli, let us know how it flies...

I finally "mowed the lawn" on purpose, and survived! I'm having a blast lately....

hey voodoo, you're a real S.O.B. showing yours flying when i haven't got to fly mine yet. i realized during my build i didn't have enough futaba servo arms the same size so my swash mix is a little off. i'm waiting on servo horns. i could probably fly her but i want her in tip top when i give her the maiden. nice flying voodoo, maybe i can post a vid when i get mine up.

Hey Nate, glad to see you finally got the tz. What do you think of the quality on those??
Nice flying VooDoo! The price is certainly right on those TZ's I think the word needs to get out on the build quality of materials. Might be a winter project for me, have to wait and see! I can only fly one at a time!!

Odam, WTF?????? You got too much power on that 450?
I've not heard of that happening before? Glad no one was hit!! Thats what worries me about flying with woodies on a 600. Although just hovering and a little back and forth. Gotta take it easy for awhile again, cause of the blades! They sure add up when you go through a few pairs a month, plus the other parts from crashing. I just get impatient and wanna do forward flight to fast I guess.
Man that thing went to pieces. Good thing you had a video of it, otherwise you might not have known what happened! I sure didn't see it till the slo mo!

the tz is very good quality, imo. all metal bearing blocks, complete metal head(very nice), 120 or 140 degree options, g10 frames with all metal spacers, cheap replacement parts. very good quality for a $400 heli and it's under $200. i'm in heaven. it's cheap enough if you crash just buy another heli. if any of you guys purchase one you will be pleasantly surprised with the cost/quality factor. i love mine. i've still not flown it yet though i've chatted with several accomplished pilots that have flown several makes of helis and they all love the tz. my local flying buddy came over to check mine out and he said he'll probably order him one and he flys Vibe 90 gasser, and trex 600's. he's flown many a heli and was impressed. i'm done bragging on it now. you guys have fun.

Nate, Ive not flown anything but the Trex 600e and the 600N and the 450's. I'm wondering if you can really tell the difference in how one heli fly's over the other. I was just out in the garage working on the Raptor 50 in the Xero G frame. I think its about ready to try and adjust the blade pitch on it and see if she fires up. I haven't been in any hurry to fly it as i still have the T-rex Nitro to fly. But i guess i better get it going to find out!

hay guys i see ya all have been real buisy sorry i havent been on here much due to flying as much as i can and working the rest of the time.
sounds like your all having fun whitch is good. we have the brooks event next week i just ordered 5 cases of fuel so i should be set for a while i think
looking forward to seeing all the top pilots around here fly and flying with them should prove interesting.
10 to 20 helis in the air is kinda nerve racking but man its awesome lol
by the way those blades from helidirece are good blades in glass or carbon i am using them on my 500 21 dollers a set for carbon blades and thay fly as good or better than the align blades to.
definatly worth the money just be sure to check the ballance.

Hey Guys, Some great flying weather out there. I'm getting as much as I can weather permitting. Rain yesterday but the next few days its supposed to be great! Just flying the 600N. I did some work on the 600E yesterday and will probably be ready to fly with a few more hours into it. I'm just waiting for Batteries from HC. They are way back ordered, but its been a month since i ordered them. Has anyone heard anything about their backorders?
