Sonny had the time right, but OH-6 had the activities right At lunch time I was at the park, spent 15 minutes getting the tracking set up on the Voyager, then flew a pack on the 400 doing flips.

Either you guys are psychic, or I'm getting very predictable... lol

Got some video, but its been a nightmare at work this afternoon (fridays are s'posed to be easy!) I'll edit and post it later...

Hey OH-6.
I received the fuselage today. Boy they are a little lighter weight
than I thought they would be. How do you put the two half's together?
so that you can take it off if necessary? I have the HDX ready to fly except for tuning the radio right. You know, I want rock and roll!!!

Crank it up there Sonny!

You know what I noticed today? I didn't leave the office till about 5:20 tonight, and it was just barely light enough to fly! So, that means if I was to leave right at 5, or a few minutes early, then I could get at least one flight in after work now. WooHoo!!!

Also, its light out at 7:30am, there's another half hour, so I can get an hour to an hour and a half in before work, about 45 minutes at lunch time, and maybe a half hour after work... Summers coming!

Odam, Yeah buddy!! 64 days till spring!!! Now we will gain about 3 minutes daylight each day!! Today the sun was out, and I swear it seemed like we haven't seen it that bright in weeks!!! You actually needed sunglasses! But it was colder than a well digger A#s outside! Supposed to go fly in the gym tomorrow!! That will be nice.

hehe hey odam I have to agree with sonny, not a psychic here just got tons of time on my hands to guess

wow sonny 9 degrees and I thought it was cold here Well it was a lot colder than any other winter day here, really bone chilling brezzes that kept me inside all day but I was also running erons so I was grounded.

Hey I don't know what where complaining about!!! I feel real sorry for those who had to endour through -40 degree's F here in the US!!!! Now that freezing balls!!!

Hey I got the servos for the 600 today!! They're futuba 9252's so that's going to work out real well!! Now I just need a receiver since the airwolf needed the AR7000 What do you guys recommend, get another ar7000 or ar6200?? I'll be getting that body from COBRA soon so I won't need the extra channel???

I never count the wind chill... the weather people always say its -10C but feels like -30... bah, it feels like -10 with some wind...

Sure the wind makes the cold get into your clothing etc, but its still -10... so, no matter what the wind chill is, I only worry about the actual temp... besides, if its that windy, I probably won't be flying anyhow.

if you want to know, our lows, including the wind chill have been somewhere around -30C to -35C (-22F to -31F) but it was only really about -25C (-13F)

I'm hoping that I'll get into the club field this weekend to fly the raptor, but we're supposed to get more snow, so that may not be possible. I actually bought the raptor thinking it would be a better machine for the winter, but thats not happening... wish there was some place else I could fly it, but thats what happens when you live in the city....

hehe hey odam I was starting to miss the rappy talk!!! It's been a while since you even mentioned it...

I painted a couple more canopies tonight. Still have to repaint the Raptor canopy, just can't decide what scheme... Too bad I can't airbrush dinosaur scales... I suppose I should consider purple, as in the Toronto Raptors basketball team, but alas, I'm not a basketball fan...

On my 400 canopy I went flourescent orange bottom, flourescent yellow top. I need better visual reference for upright/inverted now than front/back. I'm hoping this will help when I'm learning inverted, since I've crashed a few trimes already from lost orientation while inverted.

I painted the Voyager canopy the same colors, but more just to look the same since I won't be flying it inverted.

I hear ya on the hot vs cold, but I'd sure be happy somewhere in the middle right now

hay guys well i am sitting here at work working on my helis got all my batteries charged up for the mx 400 and am working on the scedue 30 and the 600n hopfully i will be flying the 2 nitro helis tomarrow thats the plan anyways getting excited to see one of them in the air for the first time. going to try some faster forward flight with my mx 400 though hovering is getting kind of second nature so i need to do something more daring with it.
.
hay oh-6 when ever you are ready it will be waiting for you i would get the 6200 as it has dual recievers and there should not be any shielding issues that the 6100 may have. and its a bit cheaper than the ar7000.

Hey Sonny, I just checked the map, and we're really not all that far away from each other. We should try to meet sometime this summer, maybe around Sarnia... maybe a weekend, find some place to fly the nitros...

thanks COBRA!! Hey honestly just check the classifieds here! They already come built and even though it's fun to build them yourself you'll save tons! I just saw a flybarless 500 for 650 on here pretty sweet deal if you ask me
Hey try to take some pic's of the flights!! That would sure be nice to see... I was also thinking the 6200 is good enough but the extra channel sure sounds nice like to mount a moving spotlight or something like that....

Hey odam how far away are you guys from each other?? That would sure be nice if you got some more people to join you guys for a nice day of flying!!
