Its going pretty good, still trying to get back in the groove on the sticks.
You still having those indoor funflys? Might have to make my way back out there sometime.
Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes, we are still having the indoor flyins...just ended the winter season.

Thumb is still numb but it works. I can fly a heli a little now with a neckstrap but I loose it a bit and have to catch up to it in forward flight. Therefore I am gonna thin the heard the fancy stuff needs to go. I will be flying the smaller cheap stuff low budget flying for me now.

Dont get me wrong I need no pity, the Doc flipped a coin whether to save it at all so wht the Hell I am good.

I hear ya man, I go real cheap by making my own planks out of blucore foam and hot glue. Its about a buck a plane minus the electronics so if you crash -you don't give a **** If fun to cut out your own design and see if it flies----and if it does and I like it, I make templates out of 1/4 inch plywood so I can replicate it and give to my flying comrades.

I put my fourth flight on my Gaui X5 today. I'll try to get some video up of the X5 soon. I really like the BeastX FBL system my X5. Setting up the BeastX is relatively simple and I haven't had to make any adjustments to the original setup settings. The X5 displays no oscillations, tail is rock solid and flys like it's on rails. Guys, I'm telling you, give the BeastX FBL system a try...you won't be disappointed.

Jim, I converted my Trex Pro to FLB with the Beastx. This was back the 2.0 days. The cyclic was nice, but the tail was not near as good as the Spartan I had taken off the Pro. After the upgrade to 3.0.8 the tail is much improved and so is the cyclic.

The Beastx flies very nice and as you say setup is easy. Only big issue I have is with the Hitec 5056 servos. They are good servos for a flybar, but a little too slow for the Beastx. Gain needed to be turned down quite a bit. The MKS 95 servos recently arrived and that should let the Beastx shine. Overall, very impressed the Beastx.

Greg, I'm glad you are liking the BeastX. I was very surprised the BeastX was so very easy to set up. Then again, I was apprehensive to begin with because of the X5 being my first FBL heli. I had also read all these horror stories about severe oscillations and helis tipping over on take-off .

I bought a AR7200BX today. I love it. First hover dialed in. Tomrrow is the real test. Early in the morning i will go out and try it out. So already without having a real test i will never touch a 3gx again. Not even with a 10 foot pole!
