I had some time today to get my Rappy 30 going The OS 37 is brand new so the 2 tanks were just hovering but it was nice to see it in the air regardless

Thanks Doug While planes are my primary choice I don't see me ever giving up helis. Both are fun and that's what the hobby is about. Once I get the engine fully broken in I am putting the rappy in a Bell 222 fuse.

JW,
Who has a decent selection of Raptor 30 fuses? My Raptor e550 is becomming a hanger queen but I bet it would look really great in a scale fuse! I'm debating whether to do it or not but I think it would be a good winter project. I'd like a WOW factor Heli. A friend has a Scale Trex 600 and it is just COOL. I'm thinking something scale but I'd like something that builds straight forward and does not have a bunch of tail fins that vibrate (like a Hughes 500 would)

My fuse is a Century 50 size. The rappy fits better in the bigger fuse since it's a 50 size frame anyway. All I'm doing is putting a 50 tailboom and belt on, the rest is staying 30 size. I've talked to a few scale guys and they told me that a 30 with a 50 boom will lift the 222 just fine. Here's my 222 right now but I'm going to be stripping the paint soon to change the paint scheme. I say go for making the e550 a scale project. Scale birds look great even just hovering(which covers for my crappy piloting lol)

My club had a funfly. Low Key, no vendors or sponsors and no cost. Had I think 20+ pilots. Great weather had the Plank pilots showing up sulking and waiting till 4PM. I flew my 500 and 550. My buddy dumb thumbed his 550 unfortunately.

Sounds cool melymel My bud flew his Fbl rex 550 today for the first time and said he hated it cause he was scared I said its gonna take you a month to just get used to the size. I flew it and was imppressed by the stability--- wanted to flip it but at the same time cringed at the possibility of Crashin another guy's heli

I flew the 600N today.

I was feeling lazy / indifferent about flying it.

I kinda made myself load up the car, take all the nitro related stuff...

Worth it all! I had a blast!
