Sorry...-flight

How about battery discharges?
My MCX had well over a hundred discharges with more that 300 crashes.

Oh yeah,
this thing is about as harmless as a heli can be (I wouldn't suggest flying it in someones face) but it will not pop a balloon,
and if you run it at a decent throttle and stick your finger in the blades it won't cut or bruise (mild sting).

Soooooo long story short my cats have a new $90 toy,
only the youngest one ever swats it down, and though he has been responsible for nearly 1/4 of the crashes none of them ever caused damage to each other.

Goblin! where have you been all my life?

Nice flips and inverted nose-in hovering, Bob. It looked like a beautiful sunny day in Puerto Rico. You should invite us all down to fly with you . I need some warm weather .

Flew that DDVP thing (for the last time). It flies, so now I'm taking it off.
2nd video I think is just funny. I did not realize all the snow was gonna melt today so I forgot to bring the wheels

Hit a balmy 45 today!!!!!!!
I wrung out the Super duper hopped up duck mobile T-28 trojan and the HK250GT Trex250 clone.
BTW anyone owning a parkzone T-28 a .10 size motor wakes the poky little trainer up very nicely giving it unlimited vertical and will hand launch at 1/2 throttle.

The clone flies pretty good now but the gyro gives me fits The tail wags hard. I have read its cause the tailslider ball is too small or the crank is to large? But soon as I get that figured out its gonna be a sweet little ride!!

Oh BTW I have upgraded my 6EX for night flying also no video but I have pics.

It felt like i have been doing it forever! it came naturaly! now all i have to do is figure out how to flip it lower to the ground so i can do it indoors!

LOWER!!!!!!!

If your higher than your little friend is long you aint inverted!!!

Flew the HK250 today I got the tail setup nicely but still cant get higher than 22 gain on the Futaba.

Man does this thing have a piro rate full rudder its a blur!!!!

NE1 experienced with removing tail slop from the sub micro helis?

Got any suggestions are my balls too small or is the hole too big?

I just had to get out and fly this morning. So, I ventured out in the 28F air and had a great time! I flew the Mini Titan two times...I continue to improve with inverted FF . I also managed to bring my inverted hovers down to about 5 ft.

I also flew two flights on my new foamie airplane I recently built, the Techone Piaget EPP. This is an awesome performing 3D foamie, which has a light wing-loading. The AUW is 7.52 oz. I'm powering the Piaget with just a little 2S 400mAh 20C lipo. Flight times are in the 6 - 6.5 min. range. I primarily worked on my hovers, knife edges and inverted harriers. I'm really starting to enjoy flying 3D airplanes. Also, some of you guys may think I'm crazy, but I strongly believe that flying 3D airplanes improves my heli flying skills (and vice versa), as well.

I to braved it this morning but it was much warmer here than where your at racin06 we had 32!!!!

I flew a couple flights on the HK250GT I am really starting to like that little guy. Tail wagging and all!!!

I also flew the Trojan T-28. Its now my 3D foamie It now has the power to do most any maneuver But the tail to prop length is too short for hovering. I can hold it for 5-10 seconds but run out of rudder. But it knifedges very well not enough to do a knifedge loop though. I ended up in an inverted flat spin trying that one.

Avalanche is no problem I am looking up harriers I dont know what those are? Always looking for my next maneuver.

My favorite crowd pleasing maneuver is just a low inverted pass about 5 foot off the ground pull up to about 10ft snap roll it back to inverted. You do that without crashing just about everyone is amazed.

Spencer, flipping without losing/gaining much altitude just takes alot of practice. You have to be very precise on the collective. I find rolling into inverted much easier and quicker than flipping. Something you may want to work on.

yea i am still rolling into inverted then backing up closer to me while bringing it down. The last time i did it i went real fast forward and gained altitude wile doing it the i gunned the - and did a front flip out of it. You could hear the motor and blades working hard to pull it off then i gunned the +. It sounded and looked like a flip a pro would do.

I flew a couple flights on the HK250GT I am really starting to like that little guy.
I also found, much to my surprise, how much I like this size heli.

I got the EP200 for indoors, started flying it outside ,and I was amazed at how well it did in my lake breeze flying environment.

When I started having BS Gaui mechanical issues, I bought the TREX250.

Yeah MMike it is really not a bad outdoor flyer we only had 4mph winds today. But I totally lost it in a piro today I need to slow the rate down a bit. It went around more times than I could count I let loose of the rudder it was nose in and falling out to the right all about 7-8ft off the ground. I did something right dont know what it just ended up back leveled out and sidein almost tailin hovering.

Maybe all that hovering orientation paid off. Cause I dont know what I did it was just instincts to get it back right.

Id rather be lucky than good any day.
