4#3B Looks like it is almost last flight of my 4#3B. Motor is almost dead and I hardly landed it safely, as you see at the end and no more spare motors. I tried to fly slow for cameraman and camera could follow heli. Looks like still it is out of focus, but there will not be better video at least for now.Heli is complete stock. I counted 10 sec today of hands free hovering. It drifts for sure, but quite slow.Watch at YouTube |

Heli KVAs usual, great flying! The liveliness of your heli rivals my brushless.I have stock batteries. They are tired after 120+ cycles each.WOWhobbies has 20C 2 packs for $12. They say stock are 12C.I ordered 4 of them. It's going to be a long "off season".Bottom line... Could your batteries be at least part of your problem??Nice house too! |

Flew and crashed.
 Very little damage.
Spindle and mainshaft (I'm sure of).
One skid.
Slight bend to the boom but I think I can bend it right back. Was doing loops with a piro at the top. Something I find easier on my bigger helicopters that do larger slower loops but I was working on it with the 450. Started it too low and ran out of air. But it landed upright, ejected the battery and I never had to hit throttle hold. |

Flew good for last a few days but today, 3min into first flight tail bearings went. Good thing I bought spares but ran out of day light.Must find better tail bearings.ಠ_ಠ HBK2 built with inexpensive parts! ٩๏̯͡๏)۶ Gaui425 |

Zaw, which tail box are you running now? I still have the v2 CNC tailbox and had good performance from the ceramics from Boca. But I've devoloped an unsolvable vibration as I increased the tailspeed. Now I'm wearing out bearings like crazy. Going to lighter CF blades has helped but its not completely gone. The V3 boom and tail box are on order. The bearings are a little larger so hopefully that will help the wear.Revolectrix Beta Team |

In my case, a loud sound from the tail along with a high speed vibration. But then again, I also get a tail vibration with good bearings. Although its not quite as bad.Revolectrix Beta Team |

I'm now 100% King3 now and this is my 2nd set of tail bearings that went.first one flew fine but notchy so I replaced, 2nd one the outer one stopped spinning and shaft was doing all the work,This time, Yesterday I did noticed some noises. Today it was just fine before the flight. Then it started to vibrate and you can hear the belt slipping in pulses as tail was wagging. Was able to landed in the bushes but blades caught on something and damaged my main gear. oh well.ಠ_ಠ HBK2 built with inexpensive parts! ٩๏̯͡๏)۶ Gaui425 |

Flew yesterday.Completely re-setup the head. This time with swash expo INH. Re-centered servos; re-leveled swash and set ATV's to minimize interaction; popped all the links and set them to TREX SEV2 manual recommendations; completely redid CCPM and pitch settings.I now have +10°/-10° pitch and +6°/-6° cyclic pitch.Watch at YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3resYelky1UA soul in tension is learning to fly |

Thanks Doug. I pretty much use the 20% expo setting on the first flight to "warm up" and then I switch to the 10% setting for the next 2 or 3. 10% is just about right for me to cushion transitions in flips.I plan to "wean" off of expo as I get more comfortable with light aero.A soul in tension is learning to fly |
