Haven't been posting or flying much lately cause I've been really busy with schoolwork.

Took the 4#3b outside today, that thing really gets blown around even though I hardly noticed any wind.

Watch at YouTube

And here's some 450 pics from last weekend:

1. How many flights to wear them out?
2. Aren't those "Tryans" servos too?
3. What would you replace them with?
4. Is this enough questions?
Cant say for sure how many flights but its quite a bit. I believe Tryan has them also. I was thinking of some S3050's. No.

Mike you would not believe how loose those servos are. They have at least 1/8 of play.

Flew my newly governor equipped R30 today. The gov works pretty well. It doesn't keep the motor exactly at the same rpm very well but it reigns it in when it gets going too fast. Of course running a pretty small motor kinda makes the gov less useful during regular flying but during fast descents and fff it really helps to keep the head speed more constant. Anyhow flew 4 tanks and now I am almost out of freaking nitro again. That is my second gallon! This is costing me a ton of cash! But it is still fun

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid
Put the 450 in today, my own stupid fault,
Was doing multi Aileron rolls in FFF and was on a downward slope, I Knew I was out of altitude but for some stupid reason didn't bail but tried for one more. Went in inverted Major damage, I think one of the plastic skid stoppers may be salvageable.

Gotta love the 520
Made a huge difference to my 450, shame I only got to play with it for 2 days
Thinking I might move it to the FBL 500 and get another for the 450' or maybe a mini G

450 rex clones are a dime a dozen for the airframe.

As long as there is anything salvageable from your crash.

Like it or no?

I always try and have my flight pattern figured at least one move in advance, and because of this (at least once) I crashed because I was just really into the pattern.
