Ok well I recently just bought a Trex 450 SE, to get back into helis after taking a year off. Well I have come to the conclusion that this is just not going to work for me. No one around here flys helis all fixed wing, and all my buddies are on the ground. So I am going to get out for good, just not practical for me, just going to stay on the ground. So I need to figure out what my set up is worth. I have 450SE w/ Jazz, 3 hitec hs65mg, JGF 450TH, brand new HG-5000 Gyro/HSG-5083MG Servo Combo (only 4-5 hovers), radix blades, true blood dampners, 2x mega power batteries, xp7202 tx, 700 slimline rx, align pitch gauge, plus set of align blades, hitec tail servo hs81mg I believe, and other xtra parts, main shafts, tail booms etc. Also FMA Cell pro 4s, It still needs to be trimmed, it setup enough to hover, but needs final trimming. Any help woud be great. Thanks

part of me really doesn't want to. but I'm looking at the practical side of, right now the heli hovers, but needs trimming, and I'm lost noone around here flys helis so no help. There is a ton of help on here, but its easy to read, but harder to apply. I really have no where to fly, for the amount of money I have into it, will I fly enough to make it well spent or just collect dust, and fly once a month and not get better. Don't get me wrong I love flyin, I still have a CP pro, and CX2, granted neither are anywhere near the Trex. Plus I'm a nitro guy, but that isn't a big factor in this. This little thing makes me nervous, I was less intimidated by my JR Venture CP 30. I haven't crashed it yet and I want to keep it that way lol. I don't know I'm just tryin to figure out what I got here, and go from there.

Unless you are well known and have impeccable building skills the sad story is anything you buy in the hobby is only worth half of what you paid for it when you try to sell it. So anything more than half of what you paid is a good deal. Some items may not hold to this ratio but as a whole it is usually the case.

Nice gear man. Sad thing is no one will give you it's worth.
It's like driving a new car off the lot. If you can handle a CP
Pro, the Trex should be a dream boat by comparison. Wish I
could set it up for you. If you get your mechanical setup
right, you shouldn't need a great deal of trim if any.
