Hello, I received an ENYA SS50 engine in a heli auction. The compression seamed good so I bolted it into my test stand attached a prop and after several spins she started and ran for about 3 minutes. I noticed the muffer was loose so I closed the fuel line and she shut down. After checking several screws and nuts I tried to restart the engine, no good and there was very little compression. I figured the ring was no good so I set the ENYA aside. About 15 minutes later I walked by the ENYA and spun the prop, hey the compression was back???
OK I have built more motors then most people ever see, from 1 to 12 cyl and I never had the compression get better after it got worse. Is this the norm for a heli engine and the ring they use???
Also, what can I use in place of the prop to start an engine on the test stand?? I have been told not to run it with the clutch on it.
Last question, who sells ENYA engine parts?

watersteps,
