You want the HELI Radio...

#####SPM2712

Also keep in mind that the DS821 servos are no good for helis. Either use them in an airplane or just pawn them off on Ebay...

Indoor plumbing??? No, we don't need that!!!

I dont think ill be flying airplanes anytime soon, if i do i probably wont need that quality of servos anyways

Any advantages of a DX7 over DX6i?
Is their any advantages of a DX7 over a DX6i Spektrum radio for helio use?
I'm kinda interested in the Blade 400 for an upgrade and because it comes with the DX6i radio. I've read some "horror" stories about the Blade 400 servos! Anyway I'm wondering if I should buy a DX7 and a helio that needs a radio or go with the Blade 400 package and get 3 JR servos for the cyclic.

Anyone using a DX6i for their helio?

Appreciate some replies.
Thank you, Ed

The Dx7 has more advanced programming and more model memory. You also get the extra channel, which is nice if you move up to a nitro and run a gov. The dx6 is a nice radio for the money, feels a little cheap but programming is straight forward. They always say buy the most radio you can afford. If you are looking to get a 400 size heli then you can't beat the blade 400 deal with the radio. Spend a little extra and replace the servos when you are at the point that you need them.

I bought my DX7 from http://www.espritmodels.com with a ar6100. I too did not want the servos that came in the pack.

I used it with a BladeCP and I just bought a Trex450S CF and use a 6200 in it and Love it. This radio is great even for a beginner like me.

Who Says Confidence is a good thing?!
