most people have there own opinions on that and it does have to work with your pitch curves

in normal mode im at 0 30 55 80 100
with a pitch curve of 0 25 50 75 100

im running a li bit different setup then stock i like the way this is now tho
My friend started me out with a stock blade and curves both at 0 25 50 75 100 i just bumped it up a lil from that.
alot of people have this bird with position 2 at 50 i think thats to high and u kinda cut the soft start out of the esc and they tend to get a lil hotter.
Im sure there will be a few posts about everyones personal setup, go from there do be afraid to ask questions

Page 30 of the manual says the normal throttle curve is linear (0-100). Pitch curve is 35% to 100%. I don't remember on mine if it came any different than that, and I've changed it since then. This is a fine place to start though.

It is all stock now i had the pitch curve at 0 25 50 75 100 and the same with the throttle curve and it just seemed like it fell out of the sky to quick so i changed the pitch curve back to stock I am sure everything will change i have hs-65's with a 7703d gyro and a 3400g coming we will see what this does for it.
