Sounds like an awesome setup.

Keep us updated on the Spartan, everyone I've tried is out of stock, from what I've heard it's a great gyro

hi
I know some people are having problems with 2in1 and 8717 servos.. A lot of my friends are using this setup with no issues.

I believe if I use a higher C rating packs (evo 2100rx ), there SHOULD be no issues. I think the issue is with the align 12C pack.

Anyone want to chip in?

thanks
Michael

The problem with 8717's is that they are very power hungry. They can draw 3-4a each. The Align regulators are only rated for 6a output. This is exactly why I am switching to the ReactorX and a 2300mah 7.4v lipo for the 8717's that I am putting in my Xtreme 50. The ReactorX can handle 15a continuous. Depending on your level of flying, you may not notice the need for a better regulator.

One of my friends is flying an Aurora with 8717 servos and Arizona regulator, but he said he managed to get an occasional "freeze" in the radio (due to battery voltage drop) using the Fromeco 2600 Li-ion pack, so he went to Evo Rx and had no problems ever since.

hi
Exactly my point..

EvoRX packs allow more current.. For my level of flying, it is a perfect combo...

When I start stickbanging like Szabo, then I will get the reactorX.. But for loops, rolls and inverted hovering..

I think this combo will be just fine.

Im sure it wont be long before I will need a ReactorX

Fromeco isnt up to the task.. Someone on RR posted an eagletree result of Fromeco V.S. TP 2100 prolites.. and the Prolites sustained hard manuevers while Fromeco had issues.
