Hi,

I have looking through some of your gallery's.
And I wonder, how many of you wrap in your reviewer in ex. foam?
Or just have some double tape or foam between the receiver and the frame....

I use foam around my receivers in my stratusses,
the receivers, is therefore not very tight to the frame, and it is hard to check/get to the connectors.
and it does not look nice and clean.

Therefore i maybe remove the foam.

hey
i wrap mine....never really thought about it but have always been told to since i was a noob...

i guess it helps with vibrations along with that extra safety net of keeping the receiver crystal in place...

happy flyin

Thanks

Hi

I have tape over the crystal....
I if not using foam around the receiver, I would place some foam tape between the receiver and the frame...
I also though out putting the receiver into a small plastic bag, because there is oil all over the heli and the rc stuff...

I wrap my battery with KSJ rx wrap. I have the "hook" part of velcro on the battery tray and on the bottom of the rx. I then place the battery on the velcro and the rx on top of the battery. The KSJ wrap is like the "loop" part of velcro therefore the battery sticks to the battery tray and rx sticks to the top of the battery. I then use a velcro strap or 2 around everything. Here's a couple of pics:

On my Xtreme 50

On the Knight 3D I had:

Since the battery is wrapped with the KSJ stuff, it helps isolate the rx from any vibration. The velcro on the tray and the rx along with the strap around both keeps everything secure. I have never had the battery or rx come off during piros or in a hard crash.
