Before I do anything permanent, I just want to check that the obvious thing to do - file off the little tabs on the Futaba servo plugs - is correct.

If I don't do this, I don't see how else I am going to get them into the AR7000 receiver.

I ask in case there's some magic adaptor I'm meant to have instead of butchering the plugs.

EDIT: actually, it's worse than this, isn't it? I have to file down the edges too, to create a bevel... sigh.

Ah, yes, got it sorted - used some electrical side-cutters (nice clean edge) and a bit of 600 sandpaper to take a small amount off both sides. Fits nice and snug.
