Well, if you're planning on getting the TT53, then buy the MP5. Do a search, the Align pipe doesn't work well with the TT53, and the MP5 works great.

Although I am a big fan of the align pipe, I have heard the tt 53 prefers the mp5

Hmm, looks like two mistakes to me

Firstly, averaging votes on these forums is a bad idea

Secondly, if you've had no luck with an OS50
you'll have even less luck with any other engine

Do you have someone at your club that has used the OS50
successfully for an extended period of time?
Why not talk to them and get hands on assistance

The OS50 is one of the easiest engines to setup and use
and it does produce good results

On the OS50 the Align pipe was better than the MP5, But on the TT53 I started with the Align pipe for 50 flights and then changed to the MP5 and I could not notice any difference at all

don't belong to any club i feel like this forum is the closest to belonging to a club. it's just me and my brother going through pistons, sleeves, rings, and let's not forget a lot of issue with the bearings. i want to try something new who knows tt53 could b the motor for me..lol

It sounds as if you have got something else going on there with your Hyper.

Check on this forum (and others) and you'll see a whole lot (and I mean a whole lot) of happy Hyper users!

Personally I think you'll have just as much problem with any other engine if you're having that much grief with the Hyper.

What fuel/plug/pipe combo are you currently using?

well thanks all for your input i guess it's gonna b mp5. i'm sure everyone gonna have some kind of issue with any motor, the thing is i've already have a hyper and the ys is a little too expensive for just flying around and it also have it's own if not similar with the hyper.

if your going through pistons and liners it sounds like you need to learn how to set the fuel mixture correctly
its sounds like your running way too lean, set your next engine on the rich side and fit a carb smart , then the engine may have a chance
the hyper only breaks the piston if its run to lean, the piston ring breaks due to wear or the bearing has broken up and gone up through the piston
