if you want to cheat a little the boom, bubble and canopy can be purchased from lhc http://www.lhc-rc.com if you ask them they will bend the boom in the jig ready for you to solder/braze together (and mike will love you cus he's had lots to make resently and thats the bit he doesn't like doing, last time i spoke to him he had only 48 to make)
this is a 30/40 size machine based on shuttle or rapter mechanics but they do sell the body kit only , I've used some of the parts to restore an old morley

Years ago had the Hirobo petrol gas version , 950 rpm on the head , 25 minutes up in the air just putting around , got it from Dave Nieman models in those days!!

Probably not what you had in mind, but I built a 47G from plans, only buying the bubble and fuel tanks. It is based on a tiney GWS Dragonfly.

Alright, here are a few pix taken during the build. the tail frame was made from 1 and 2mm carbon rod, with joints wrapped in cotton and then soaked in CA. Sorry, didn't do a "build" log
