Why cant you use the cb dale? If its like the 1915 you have to shorten the motor shaft to make the cb fit!

CB

The reason i cant is the CB has 3mm ? bolt holes and the motor has 4-5 mm bolts
unless i get someone to drill the cb holes out

any other ideas ??

strange, my 1915 has 3mm screws for the motor. What about drilling and tapping 3mm holes in the motor, i would think that would be easier than modding the cb!

The CB are used for outrunner style motors. The Neu motors are inrunners so it is not necessary....Ron

CB
I think i have it sorted

The main shaft on the NEU is really long, havent measured it but probably 30-40mm (1.5 inches) so i will run that though the counter bearing and not use the small shaft in the counter bering.
I will drill out the Counter bearing houseing to fit the large bolts.

Anyone see a drama with this ?

Hey Russ are you going to Coffs this year ?

I did this using a 1912H/1Y and it worked fine.

Bath I drilled out the holes to accomadate 4mm bolts, it was no big deal at all. Like it has been said though there is no need to use the CB with this motor if you do not want to.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
