Wow, I can't believe it's ready to fly again! My EVO 90's been sitting on the desk since at least September (longest any heli I've ever had has been down!)

Added the CCPM kit (sweet kit, just $$$), a carbsmart, a freshly rebuilt by YS 91, a Arizona Reg (was duralite before), and new 9451's all around.

Should be sweet!

This hobby is like Kryptonite to chicks!

Ditto...

One thing though if the Evo 90 doesn't use X levers from servo to output wny does the Evo 50? It looks alot easier to set up the helicopter, with less parts.

The Evo 50 SWM doesn't use x-levers. Only the HPM mix uses them. This is needed due to the different servo layout with HPM.

I have just worked it out. Of course the X levers are at the fulcrum of the collective cradle on the HPM setup. Doh. Yes I can see the SWM doesn't need them.

What is the purpose of the removable pin (the one rear to the carbsmart servo with red marking)?

And how would it do that?

It's the on-off switch for the Arizona reg. You pull the pin and it's on (it's a fail-safe switch)

Well look at the servo rod which looks like the throttle rod, it gets blocked by the pin, no starts until the reg is on......

Never used a lipo reg b4 so my bad.

That's the mixture adjustment control for a CarbSmart. The throttle control is on the other side of the engine.

The pin is the on-off switch for the Arizona regulator. When the pin is in the regulator is off, when the pin is out the regulator is on.
