I picked up an iPod dock at Circuit City tonight, as I had some certificates to burn, and boy was I impressed. I may pick up another one for my desk at work. It is the Altec Lansing im600. It was $129, which is about half the cost of the Bose. If anybody wants a cheap speaker set for their iPod, this one sounds great. The iPod Touch looks perfect sitting in it, as the album art displayed fills it in nicely. Rechargeable battery, and FM radio, along with the fact that it folds flat for travel make for a nice unit.

Agreed, picked one up for $95 at best buy on sale for the wife at Christmas for her Nano. Not a bad set of speakers.

Thanks, on my way to work today I am picking one up. I want to try a new one...radio at work is tough to get signal through metal building.

We have a Sonic Impact speaker set-box that we travel with. Nice cause it is a hard case, and the iPods fit nice inside for storage if need be. Sound is OK for 100$.

im600 eh? I will look at it, thanks.
