if you all want to boycott someone lets pick wal-mart.

and just for argument. i can see where china would be using alot more fuel with there growing power thanks to the past Clinton admin. giving them all our computer tech.

India needs all that fuel so they can teach everyone how to drive, then they can come to America get major tax breaks that we as citizens dont get, then they can buy our gas stations and hotels/motels

I love America, but there are obvious problems with the way that this country is going as far as Americans go, but if we dont change it, then it will be our own problem.

Now, for sure Walmart is so not my favorite place, and I try to avoid it at all costs, and they always smell funny. For the extra couple of cents that it cost, I prefer Target.

And I dont think that the Bush administration has done better than the previous pres, but thats another topic.

I say, stop living in excess with our big ass SUV's, big V8 trucks and gas-hog cars, and try to get off of the Petroleum titties that we all feed off of everyday. There are other resources that may cost a little extra, but worth it.

ITS OUR COUNTRY, LETS STAND UP FOR IT AND MAKE A REAL GODDAMN DIFFERENCE.

GO FAST, OR GET PASSED!!

Spot on Hondaboy.

Also, another thing that everyone is missing is that the majority or products sold are made using oil. How much of our helis are made from plastic which in turn is made from oil?

Then what? Put hundreds of thousands of people out of a job so you can go pay higher prices for the same Chinese merchandise?

Better add Nissan to that list, they are majority owned by a French company also.

LOL - what do French Fries have to do with France? They almost certainly weren't invented there and the fact that they're more popular than English-style chips is probably largely due to MacDonalds!

We (the UK) decided not to get drawn into Vietnam so I think you should boycott us too.

wlfk "We (the UK) decided not to get drawn into Vietnam so I think you should boycott us too."

as a Vietnam vet all I can say about that is is sure wish we had not been drawn into that conflict either,

got rid of my 4x4 truck because it ate way to much fuel.. now drive a Honda.
I doubt that I will live long enough to see a alternative fuel or renewable energy actually start being used by more than just a few. there is way to much $$$$$$ to be made by those who already have way to much $$$$$$$.

America is by my standards-better than any other country out there. we have more freedoms than anyone else.. but we are not at all free. if someone steals you car can you go get it back .. no you have to got gt someone else to get it back for you and it will cost to to regain possession. we have lost so many rights its is not even funny, you are allow to defend your self but not allowed to retaliate against said attacker. (means once you stop the attack you cant just go ahead and teach them that they should not of started the attack in the first place). the only time you are allowed to defend your house is if you fear for your life.. lets boycott all the dumb laws out there. but still there is no place better

THIS one looks a little more French, but someone used too much material on her uniform . . .

So judging by the last few posts I think that this got a little off-topic (hot girls thread).

I am just not a fan of Walmart so I shop at Target (not to concerned with who owns them). I bought my wife a new Mazda to save money on gas, and I ride a new Honda motorcycle for the same reason.

Someone shoed mt a bumper sticker that they had and it speaks volumes:

Good one helo chris, that maid is smokin! I wouldnt give them up either, for all the french nukes at muroa atoll! (french nuke testing site in the pacific)

Id really like to know, what kinda percentage of a barrel of oil it takes to make, say a raptor 50 frame. The whole box an dice. From the transporting of the oil to the refinery, to the transporting the frame to the shop, for me to buy. It cant be a whole barrel, or the frames would be over a hundred bucks, but i just cant see how the oil can be taken out of the ground, refined, transported again, refined to make the plastic, energy used to manufacture a piece of plastic, and delivered to the store for me to buy. Not to mention the 20 bucks of fuel i use to pick the part up. I mean oil is consumed at every stage right?

Another one is how much petrol(gas) is yeilded from a barrel of light, sweet crude? Google does have its limitations

Hows sending dick chenny to the arab states, gonna drop the price of oil?

A 500% increase in oil price in just 6 years is just plain mental!

2002 bout 20 bucks a barrel,,,, 2008 bout 108 bucks a barrel.

Peak oil is here......NOW!

Edit.

Whoa, dont lump all of us Americans in the mix. I for one did not think that it was wise to invade them. We cant even take care of our own problems in our country, so I surely think that we should keep our noses out of other peoples business.
