How many companies make a metal swash for the evo 50? I know Hirobo makes one and Quick UK makes one. Any other manufacturers? If so, any links to them?

Man, I miss the eighties.

I'm asking this because I am selling a metal swash. I put in the ad that I think its a Quick UK.

Here's the link to the ad.

Here's the link to a quick uk swash for the evo 50.

Here's a link to the Evo options sheet showing a metal one.

In my ad I stated that I believe its a quick uk swash. So far, I've had two offers for the swash depending on whether its a quick uk swash or not. It looks like the quick uk swash. It doesn't look like the hirobo brand swash. But does it look like any other brand swash? Also, I said I believe its quick uk, which implies that I am not 100 percent sure that it is as I don't know of any other brands other than quick uk and Hirobo. So, if any of you have seen a swash like mine being sold under a different brand, I would appreciate a link to it so I can compare the two.

Yours is probably a Quick-UK swash, but the photo is fairly blurry. You might want to take another pic in better lighting. Here's a close-up of the Quick-UK swashplate in blue:

I have the blue one on my heli. Its a nice looking swash. That is why I'm selling the silver one.

Yours is definitely a Quick-UK swash. The telltale features are the indents in the inner ring and the type of ball-posts used. The inner ring on the Hirobo EX swash looks just like the one on the Hirobo plastic swashplat.

I aggree - it is definately a Quick UK swash. They are very nice - too bad it's not a CCPM swash - I need one of thse for my EVO 50. I actaully have a Hirobo EX swash I'm selling in the classifieds because I need a CCPM swash now.

How do you determine if the standard swash is worn out? When it has worn out is the metal swash the better part to fit?

Thanks.

I think a metal swash, washout arms, and radius blocks are good upgrades to have.

Thanks guys for the help on the swash.
