So far all I can say it's trouble free and the performance is outstanding. With all of the griping I did early on with Futabas poor introduction, I have to say the TM-14 and the FASST system has been the right choice for me.

Placing an order for another 6014 next week if they hold in.

There is no question. Futaba's FASST is the way to go. I "down sized" from a 6014 in my TRex 500 to a 617 and there have been no problems....ALL is GOOD!!!! BTW, I added the extra 6014 in my second 600 and how sweet (they) are.

Something I don't quite understand. It comes with zero documentation nor does it tell you where to get it.

How long are the antena's
It's the only thing (apart from you can't get them in Oz yet) that keeps me from using Futaba recievers

I like the idea of the short Spectrum antena but don't like the way the module connects to the 14mz plus the hassle of doing the aerial mod's

Sorta stuck in the middle not knowing whichway to jump

Any advice most welcome
Cheers
Joe

Antennas are short. The antennas themselves are only 1.125" long. The leads are about 3-3/4" plus the 1-1/4" exposed antenna. This allows the versatility to do the 90 deg thing.

It's right on the TH homepage:

NEW, LOWER PRICES! Futaba 2.4GHz FASST Receivers

http://towerhobbies.com/products/futaba/futl7627m.html

I'm kind of glad all my RXs are still on backorder and haven't shipped yet.

They may charge you for the original price! Check your backorders and see if they changed it.

Just got off the phone with them. If you tell them about it they'll lower the price. If not, you pay the price you ordered it at.
