Hi Can any of you help.

I ahve a ripmax pro peak sigma charger which I beleive is very similar in operation to the prodigy pro peak 2.

The question is when you use charger/discharger to discharge and then charge, does the charger drop the voltage of the pack down below 4.8 volts for a 4 cell pack. I have read somewhere on here that you should not drop the voltage any more than 0.8volt per cell but when using this function its as if the charger is trying to completely exhaust the pack and the voltage for a 4 cell pack seems to dip right down to 3.2 volts for the pack and possibly lower that that before it starts the charge cycle.

It seems to ignore the set discharge cut of that is set in the charger and only works to that set amount if doing a discharge alone.

Is this common with all chargers.

All comments would be of a great help

Can any of you guys help, some of you must be using similar chargers, just wondering what you get when doing a discharge/recharge cycle.
