My (115-111 Tail Control Tube Carbon) has been damaged due to friction with the (115-114 Tail Control Guide). How often does one have to change the carbon rod and how do you prevent the carbon from wearing down.

You have to put the clear plastic sleeves at the connecting points. They come with the kit and maybe you forgot to put them on I guess. Here they are:

Umm,

did you install the teflon tube on the push rod?

That teflon tube is there to prevent the problem you are having.

I have had my synergy for a couple of years now. Version 1 of the heli. Installed the teflon over the rod when it goes though the grommet. no problem currently.

Frank.

Thanks. I put the tubes on the ends of the tube, thinking that it was to prevent the tube ends from fraying.I have ordered new ones from Ron's.

Hehe... That's what I did the first time.

Had to get new one's as well. Only in my case a friend has a Synergy and pointed out on a review of my build that I was an idiot.
