Not sure if this has happened to anyone else yet. Apon reading alot about removing the tail pully I decided to do it. I have the SA version and upon inspection after my 5th flight I noticed a grove in the side of the belt. Well, without the pully the belt rides high enough to run against one of the pully mounting points causing the small grove. Now I have to decide, do I put the pully back on or shave the mounting point off. I also have a Mavrick belt in waiting. Just thought I'd see how the stock belt handles for now.

If Your tail case is the aluminum one, then my opinion is that your belt is running a little loose. The top section of belt is the slack side, since the pull is across the bottom. That can sort of amplify the slack of a belt running at the fringes of grip. Many guys might say they will never be putting that pulley back on. Your call on the mod, of course.
