Is this the correct orientation for the mixer arms? Does the long rod from the mixer go to the long ball on the swash and the washout arm to the short ball as shown the pictures? Or do they go the other way?

It looks like it's backwards. You could put all small balls on, as long as you have no binding. It's all good....

The long pushrod from the upper mixing arm goes to the short balls(m3?) on the swashplate; the washout arms go to the long(m6?) balls.
At least that is how my EP16; 2 x EP8 EX`s , and 1 x EP8 SP are ...

Thanks guys! Hard to tell what was correct from the pictures I've seen. What was the max pitch you could get? I'm getting +/- 9. Any other canopies that will fit?

Your right Jimbo. Mechanical works of art! Everybody says fly it high. Nothing cool to look at from the bottom!

11/11 pitch
I squeezed out 11/11 pitch somehow. I sold the Quick and bought a Trex 600 and fly with 15/15 pitch. It's so much easier to fly with more pitch......Good luck
