Is there a fiberglass canopy to fit the Hawk Pro? I just bought my first Hawk Pro kit finally.

Their fiberglass canopies are of the same very high quality as their scale fuselages.

As both are made by FunKey in Asia, and are not sold in anywhere near the quantity of the parts for their pod & boom kits, they suffer the same fate re: availability.

Production may be only two or three times a year rather then every month, and it is only worth doing, from a shipping point of view, to make quantity mixes that would fill a 40 foot container.

Therefore, if one of the items in these containers is sold out before the next one is due, then any of us needing one, will just have to wait.

Contrary to what many may think, in order to keep the prices attractive as they are (just check out the cost of such quality fiberglass items from Hirobo or others), this is the only way to do it. They cannot have small production runs done and shipped to the USA on a monthly basis, as the cost would be very prohibitive.

That is why, when they do come in and someone is interested in one of these items, it will be a "grab it while you can" situation.

Fortunately that is not the case with the faster selling items like the Hawks and Ravens and their parts (no fiberglass canopies in these kits) that seem to arive in monthly shipments to century USA.
